You may know that tool, it just provides a way to create a more or less even training for your players, based on their positions...now, we don't like to provide an autopilot with it, this is why we limited it to physicals and primary skills...so the manager himself/herself has to provide ideas once the primaries are done.
But this causes some confusion, especially if P or K are pushed to there physical limits. The optimizer stops suggesting on physicals, if the PC is 100%, and all other physicals are at the red cap. What to do here? Any ideas? And no, we won't add rules for secondary skills/helper skills. This is not the idea of that tool |

I've read somewhere that it is possible to train skills beyond the cap, it will just take a lot of training. In this case the training will be wasted otherwise, so I would say 10% on strenght

Once all the physical skills used by that position are capped the optimizer could switch over to 10% PC training even if the "don't train PC if it's above or equal to %" is set to a lower number. For skills I saw the optimizer doing a sort of rounded training, so it can alternate between the primary and tactical skills of that position (which are known already).

Any chance on manager defined rules?
Or schedules? I'd really love a set and forget feature that alerts me when it has accomplished what I set it to do. |

Why PC? PC cannot improve above 100% We do know that physicals can improve above the cap with enough training. I still say put the 10% on strenght, that way it wont get wasted. |

Well, you are right, PC can't go over 100%. But, if you have your normal roster with 55 of them playing 2 games per update, the 10% PC training is enough to keep them at 100%. And the "Optimizer" is a tool for beginners, not for the training optimizers of all managers. Yes, if strength or speed are red, you need about 2,0-3,0 (I didn't count them, but 4-6 weeks at 90%) training points to gain 0,1 real one. At 10% training speed, you about 20 Trainings for 1,0 so you maybe get 0,1 gain in 2-3 seasons! |

I still say put the 10% on strenght, that way it wont get wasted It takes about 8 training updates on 90% to gain 0,1 points on a red capped skill (info from jack6 from the test server). And you play at least 2 games between training updates, so a 10% PC training is hardly any wasted training. How about simply not applying the optimizer to the P/K?
