You would have to recode it to another number of division and teams per divisions when tier 4 is added. Though with the current influx of players that is in maybe 4, 5 seasons' time? Creating two extra days leaves potential for 512 teams to qualify for the playoffs which would cater for divisions 1-5 but then what happens if there is a divisions 6? We would need even more free days

We need till season 7 to establish the new playoff process...so it should work more a few more seasons to pay off..

How about if after the preliminary competition runs multiple Playoffs. I mean, the 48 best teams in the Divisions 1.1 play their own Playoff. Likewise, the 48 best Division II - Teams, etc.
This system works well for future 4th, 5th, 6th, etc Division. |

I'd like to make a bit of a complaint that might also be relevent to this discussion.
There are too many bots! 
How about a way to fill the div 3 leagues 1 at a time. So maybe pick the most popular league (timezone) and fill it's 3.1 first. Then the next most popular league's 3.1, etc. This would give us more humans and less dilution. It would also be MUCH better for the Div 3 teams for their leagues. So you set the amount of SC divisions at the beginning based on the existing humans and then go from there. As teams join they could go into a few supplementary divisions if their were no spaces in the SC proper. Last edited on 2012-10-28 12:40:36 by hosh13 |
