Cardiac Huskers vs. Dome Babbies Nebraska Cornhuskers .... oops, I mean Nebraska Man Killing Mastadons, oops...wrong again ...I mean Cardiac Huskers Duran Durans vs. Red Black Warriors Red Black .... especially with that Human Bulldozer of a RB he's got Fighters de Paris vs. Very Strong Kickers Hmm, not sure here .... should be a close game, plenty of fighting and kicking  ....... I'll go for Paris
Girona Dragons vs. FAJNY TIM Mr.Consistent, Quimreira or Mr.Inconsistent, Bagss ? Girona .... unless Bagss decides to go for some tactical trickery London Redcoats vs. Kolin Walruses Kolin MALAKAS BULL vs. Madrid Typhoons In theory, should be close ..... but on current form .....Malakas Mystic Warriors vs. Essen Panther Mystic Oldham Typhoons vs. Horadada Blues Interesting .... 2 playoff contenders from last season. Close .... but I'll go for home advantage. S F vs. Stuttgart Supernovas lol ... don't really care about the result, I'm more interested in seeing which of SF's QBs has the most interceptions on the day
so, I'll pick .... Dave Conger for the most INTs  ..... and Stuttgart as a surprise winner against the $560 Billion Dollar Manager

Holy crap, what a weekend we had in Dragons.
Dome beats Huskers by 7 despite a second half comeback by the huskers. Final score 21-14. Red Black beats Duran Duran 17-10. Tight game! Tied 10 at half. Red Black scores a td with 20 minutes of game time left. The shutout on both sides the rest of the way included 3 missed field goals. Fighters beats Kickers 31-27. Fighters goes into halftine with a 17-0 lead and then scores a touchdown in the 3rd to take a 24-0 lead. Kickers then scores 27 straight points to take a 27-24 lead with 7 minutes to go. Unfortunately for the kickers premature celebration ensued because on the next play after taking the lead Fighters throw a long touch down to take the lead and eventually the win. Girona Beats Fajny 30-24. Girona leads 17-7 at halftime. Fajny then ties the game at 24 in the fourth quarter with 7 minutes to go. Girona then drives down the field for a short field goal leaving only 1:26 on the clock. Fajny then went for it on 4th and 2 and 35 seconds to go. Girona intercepts and kicks a field goal to take a 6 point lead and the win. Sf beats Stuttgart 63-52. Crazy ass game. Stuttgart has a 38-14 halftime lead. SF then starts off the 3rd quarter with an INT return for a td and then 2 touchdown passes to bring the score to 38-28 Stuttgart lead. Stuttgart throws a long touchdown to take a 45-28 lead (I thought at that point I was done). SF then scores three touchdowns in a row to take a 49-45 lead. Next play a td pass from Stuttgart to take a 52-49 lead. Next series SF throws a td to take a 56-52 lead with 7 minutes to go. Stuttgarts final drive gets to the SF 47 it is 1st and 10 and 1:36 left. SF intercepts the ball. A few plays later td to ice the game. I was on the edge of my chair watching the final quarter. The crazy stat? 115 combined points and only 13 combined 1st downs. Scorpions beat Rabbits 20-16. This game came down to about 2 plays. With the scorpions leading 10-7 the rabbits have a long drive to the 2 yard line. A failed 3rd down conversion leaves them with a field goal and a tie game 10-10. Scorpion's next possession is an interception. Rabbits drive down to the 2 yard line again and fail to convert on 3rd down. They settle for a field goal to take a 13-10 lead. Scorpions then have a long drive for a touchdown to take a 17-13 lead. Rabbits then start the 4th quarter with the ball. They drive down to the 8 yard line and take over 7 minutes off the clock on that drive. Another failed 3rd down conversion leaves them with another field goal. They trail 17-16. A long field goal drive by scorpions finishes the scoring for the game. Zaragoza beats Steely 34-27. Zaragoza had a 20-13 lead at halftime. They went back and forth touchdown for touchdown. Steely just ran out of time. Luddites beat Riviera 20-17. After halftime the game was tied 7-7. In the third quarter each team exchanged interceptions and consequently field goals to be tied at 10-10. Luddites have a long drive starting in the third quarter and extends to the 4th quarter that spanned 5 minutes and ended in a touchdown to take a 17-10 lead. 3 plays later Riviera responds with a 71 yard touchdown throw. Tied at 17, Luddites drive down the field for a 34 yard field goal. 20-17. Riviera then has the ball with on it's 25 with 1:01 to go. They were driving as the clock runs out at midfield. Entertaining Games!!!!! |
