Plus how does this work with the already existing win/loss ratio, where every loss in the last 10 official games lowers attendance by 3%? Do these have a combined effect, or multiplied or...? And BTW does the win/loss ration really only affect league games? I though both league and SC... league and SC have their own "form". And yes, I asked pete about this b4 and the stadium condition lowers this further - mulitiplied. Are you sure about that? I am asking because when the 3% rule for the past 10 games come into effect I am 100% certain SFs first league game of last season was drastically reduced because he happened to lose 2/3 bowls the previous season. Exactly, the form for calculating the attendance is built over the last 10 official games, no matter of type and season... |

Has anyone actually done the Maths to work out if it's financially advantageous to switch venues for a SuperCup match ???
The way I see it, there are a few factors to consider (Turtle can probably think of a few more ) :- FanShop sales ..... typically an extra $150k - $170k , however probably only half of that (or less) is profit . Therefore you'd need to know how much the 2% (or whatever it is) Stadium deterioration actually costs in cold hard cash and weigh it against the loss in FanShop sales One or two other factors to consider :- Does your opponent have the same size stadium as you (or bigger) ? Your opponent's League/SC form in order to guesstimate their attendance ? The condition of your opponent's stadium ? (this obviously directly affects the Attendance figure). The fact that you're giving away the small amount of Home advantage that you originally had (might be vital in a very tight match) |

Okay...so my stadium condition is at 96% and i will think I'll let it ride and see what happens with my attendance & income.
It hard for me to understand why attendance should drop because of stadium condition after just a couple of home games worth of deterioration....so maybe its best to waste at least a few games before repairs. Steve SD Blitz Last edited on 2012-11-08 17:57:32 by Solana_Steve |

I pains me to spend some much cash in League, but he's a decent player (despite his low talent level) and I know the Turtles will spend it poorly, so I don't worry about the in League issue as much as if it had been the Hippos or the 'Canes. :-)

Your aim is to limit your losses here in order to maximize your income.
The following factors come into play:- 1, Division 2, Form 3, Stadium Condition 4, Petes random factors to prevent all games being sell outs 5, Schedule I have created a little table that takes into account parts 1-4 above and is working on the basis that there are two home supercup games between every home league game. This table then calculates the maximum revenue you can expect to earn based upon your form. Even then it's not as clear cut as it would appear and the deciding factor as to when the best time to upgrade the stadium condition would be the effect of Petes random factors. For a division 1 team it appears that the best time to upgrade stadium condition would be after 6 games. But there really is nothing in it between weeks 4 and 9. So losses to fan shop income and anything I may have missed could be vital in maximizing revenue. |
