Sorry wanted to see it works first. The first link is your income less stadium repairs and loss of income based on form. The form is an average over a season though so the ones which are most accurate are 10-0 and 0-10

Hmmm, not so sure about these ........ As my Stadium Condition is currently 94%, I'm tempted to repair it just before Monday's home SC game...... my fans already have to watch shit football, I don't think it's fair to ask them to watch shit football in a shit stadium. I think I'll reluctantly post the Stadium Repair cheque to Admin ..... maybe I could send the cheque in the same consignment that Toni Gorilla's letter-bomb is in |

I think you missed some important things in your calculation. 1) eventual playoff games 2) if the repair is done at a certain point, the max loss jumps pack to 0%. It might be, that a combination of longer and shorter period of repairs do have a better revenue that a regular interval of every 4 or 6 game does have, since there are buy weeks and away games. I'm not sold on your calculation. |

I'm not sold on your calculation. This is a rough calculation based on a schedule where you will play every supercup game at home and every other league game at home. We all know real life isn't like that but to create a table for every schedule variation would be a nightmare. I hadn't included playoff games as I would expect everyone to repair their stadium for every home game to maximize revenue. Just like the form is going to be different over the course of a season also. My main aim was to find out if there was a particular time that made repairing the stadium advantageous. Looking at this rough calculation I dont think that there is. There is a six game period that looks to be where there is a balance between maximizing revenue and minimizing costs but as said above it's a rough guide. If some teams want to volunteer to be guinea pigs for this I would be happy to test the theories against actual results over the course of a season? But to hazard a guess I am reasonably confident that I wouldn't be a billion miles away from the actual figures. |
