I never said I was suprised there was a new match engine, and I do vote in polls.
I am all for a 50/50 balance of pass and run,but I`m not sure there is a 50/50 balance of pass and run at this time.
If the old match engine was too run oriented, then it seems to me that the new match engine is too pass oriented.

Thats why I asked if this game is becoming like Grid-Iron,because thats all Grid-Iron is...pass...pass ..pass...with little run game.

I dont want to see that in this game.

I think between strong teams you will have more success with a balanced offense. I played yesterday agains the mighty Landru Athletics and I needed the run and pass to beat them. OK I don't know how the result would be with only pass.

The stats from the game:
Pass: 17 of 34, 146 yards, 2 INT
Run: 37 run plays for 201 yards, 1 TD

I think most teams ignored a strong pass defense in the past and so you have now more success with the passing game. Wait until more teams have a stong pass defense in 1-2 season and you will need the run and pass to win games.

I think pretty much the same as buffalo, and if you look also on TM, these CB have been the number 1 on nearly everyones hitlist!

Surely this game is just down to the fact that one team had DB's that could tackle the ball carrier and the other didn't - 10 missed tackles for the CBs alone on the losing side.

No DB-s looks like the same in INT, TACK, POS, VIS, AGI

And what?

And not vs 3 DB all times

10:54 1 and 10 to go on own 33, Eugen Hoffmann (OC) snaps the ball to Eggert Zimmermann (QB), Eggert Zimmermann (QB) selected Ottavio Manganelli (WR/L) as target, this outer left pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, there is no defensive back around to tackle him, the result is a 67 yards pass (Shotgun 2 WR vs. 3-4-4)

2:21 3 and 10 to go on own 39, Eugen Hoffmann (OC) snaps the ball to Eggert Zimmermann (QB), Eggert Zimmermann (QB) selected Ottavio Manganelli (WR/R) as target, this outer right pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, this was a 61 yards pass (Shotgun 4 WR vs. 3-4-4)

Do you guys now start such things after each gameday? I mean, I would open an own forum for the new engine thing then...

Don't get me wrong, but I understood there is something more todo, and we DO work on fixes already. But no matter how often you post your complaints about 2.0, we will stick with it for official games till season-end.

I'd much rather play with a game engine that is being improved constantly (and therefore a bit unpredictable) than one that doesn't get improved. American football has a lot of moving pieces....Pete will get it sorted to his satisfaction.
