I have noticed in recent games that my OL seems to be losing the battle - no matter who the opposition. One of them is a draftee which makes it harder to understand. "Losing" is puting it mildly in fact.

See these games -

It all seems to start here
vs GDU
vs -TOG-/a>
vs AC

Just to put this into perspective, Kermit McKay (the draftee) was 12/44/2 vs the Fives and is a total of 30/161/23 in the other 4 (average = 8/40/6). Only 1 of the other 4 is in the Fives class, especially on the lines.

It is not just one player who happened to play against a ton of excellent DEs either - it is across the board.

What do you expect from the bug report? Or should I move this into Discussions...

In the bugs area we do not answer question like "Why is my player XY that worse"

So I take it then that this is no bug. By all means then, move it to Discussions.

And then I will ask if this is a consequence of improving Ds vs the run in the new engine?

I moved it because you missed one important point:

A bug report should contain:

THIS exactly happened, and THAT is as I would expect it to be.

And we do not allow "laziness" by replacing THIS and THAT with links to games.

This sounds like "admin, I don't like it, gather all info by yourself and satisfy me"...

Ok.

But has this aspect changed since the last engine?

So many links.
So many numbers.
But so little information.

Lots of things have changed since the last engine like 1000 passing yard games for example.

Just a thought (may or may not be accurate):-

OL are now more defensive due to being a protector on passing plays not the aggressor to create a rushing lane. My thoughts are would this mean that there are more partial/ missed blocks

Well ok.

My team has a 46 rating.

In my game vs pete (rating 56), a draft OL had 0 good blocks and 47 missed.
vs the Fraggles (rating 49) it was 1/40
vs -TOG-(rating 46) 9/39
vs AC (rating < 40) 20/35

It's a wonder there's any offence at all.

Just drafted players are not more super-stars.
Now they are just "good backupers" for old teams.

He was drafted b4 last season. He is no mega star but this doesn't seem right.

I might try emptying out my DC and then restacking.
