Congratulations but this is in no small part to some 6th round rookie.

Definately the unsung hero.

RGIII has been a revelation considering some of the god awful QBs the Skins have had since the glory days. He will have to be a bit more sparing on his runs though or it will be a short career.

Redskin resurgence over the next couple of seasons as long as RGIII doesnt crumble trying to emulate his rookie season.

ive been saying since about week 6 that Alfred Morris has been a bigger find and had (about as much) as a positive influence on the Skins as RGIII has himself.

Morris, in his rookie year, has broke the Redskins single season rushing yardage record, previously held by Clinton Portis, and was only a couple of hundred shy of the all time rookie yardage record held by Eric Dickerson - think he comes in third overall.

IMO, Morris has as much of a claim to rookie of the year as RGIII, Luck, Wilson - any of them has. He has been simply jaw dropping, and if he can carry on in this vein - both in the playoffs and in future years, Washington will become one scary offense.

Oddball, youre right about RGIII - but as above, with Morris in tandem and having the option of handing off to this juggernaut of a back, it so takes the heat off RGIII - but then his threat is still there.

We really could become a powerhouse very quickly, if we can just avoid injuries and make some (more) good draft selections and trades.

It will be a real test against Seattle's excellent defense next Sunday - if we can confuse the hell out of them as we did to the Cowpats last night and have done teams for most of the season, who knows where this road ends.....we sure have the momentum.....

RGIII and Morris, both had great first years and were a joy to watch but what impressed most against the cowgirls last night was the 'skins defense.

Thank Jim Haslett for that - the Skins have long had a fine defensive unit - individually anyway - but never (since we lost Gregg Williams) have we had a coach that has brought them together and been as creative as Haslett has been - his blitzing packages totally confused that poor pillock Romo, and the third pick last night which effectively killed the game for us was a work of sheer genius...to see him on the bench looking thru photos of our line ups, shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders, not knowing what had happened was almost a turn on

London Fletcher has been immense as always, Ryan Kerrigan a supreme talent but to me DeAngelo Hall has been standout. We are still susceptible to giving up the big play - but his coverage has been awesome and i just love Haslett's aggresive policy. We also have big Brian Orakpo to come back!

If only we still had Sean Taylor around....i still say we have never truly recovered from his tragic loss - put him in there, and boy oh boy would we have some team.

He was confused from the coin toss when asked heads or tails. All three picks were terrible.

"Monday's MRI exam suggested Griffin has suffered partial tears of his anterior cruciate and lateral collateral ligaments."

Could be out part or all of next season.

As what i have seen of that game, I think that redskins Coach should be punished by the NFL.

I'm not sure if that QB should have played at all, but latest in the second quarter, when he started limping, he should have been pulled.

Even today with that advanced medic treatments, a blown knee is a blown knee. Stupid.
