Would I be correct in thinking that if I played dime vs pro set I would cover both WR with 2 CB on each of them??

I believe the defense is set up in zones, rather than double teams. In a Dime, those zones are more closely knitted, making successful passing less likely. However, in case of a completion, and if the first CB misses his tackling chance, the WR is less likely to break away, since there's a 2nd CB nearby, who's likely to make the tackle instead. That's at least my take on it. |
