Well, it is bad luck with so many injuries on the O-line, a lot of the turnovers have been bad luck aswell, I could throw some blame at the refs to and finally the eagles have faced 4 teams coming off their bye week this season (If i remember correctly). I know its not all luck, but in a couple of the close games they have lost, a few plays going the other way could have meant a lot (also for team moral). Its a perfect example of a losing team having nothing going their way. I have seen them a couple of times this season and they are brilliant at shooting themselves in the foot. They dominated the saints for a half earlier in the season and walked in several scores down all down to their own doing. |

Babin hasnt been playing like his last couple of years, but i dont like the move. I have no doubt Reid is gone next season, therefore i think he should leave now and let the next guy shape the roster the way he wants.
I heard a reporter say Babin is a sceme guy, and that Washburn (DL coach) will be gone aswell next year. Also Babin held a big contract, only two things justifying the move, i just think there are a couple of guys who should have been cut before him. |

Sean Payton is without contract. Nobody knows if he will sign a new contract with the saints.

If Tom Benson allows Sean Payton to leave New Orleans for any other team, then I'll know that Benson has completely lost his mind.

Sean Payton would be an obvious candidate if he is available, which i dont think he will be.
I hear the name Chip Kelly alot. Can anyone tell me some basic about him and his sceme? |

His background is primarily Oregon (OC then HC) .... I think he was at New Hampshire before that. Defense seems to flip-flop between a 3-4 and a slightly odd thing that is , sort-of, 4-2-5 (so, at a rough guess, that's really a 4-4 in some ways). Last edited on 2012-12-06 17:17:15 by sh8888 |

Chip Kelly it is.
Is it possible to be optimistic and sceptical at the same time? The concept sounds interesting, but im concerned about a few things, like how will the players respond to his style? and will the system be transferable to the nfl? The FO took its time finding the "right" man, lets hope for another 14 years tenure (and a ring). |
