Ok, this may be a sour grapes post but can someone explain to me how this happened?
I just suffered my worst loss of the year to a team who's overall rating is only 2.2z higher than my own. The problem is that I used MOTY and my opponent did not (I messaged him and he confirmed). I played closer games against teams with a higher overall ranking. This was a Home game for me, I used MOTY and the opponent does not and I don't just lose but get smashed for my worst loss of the season? This is the first time I have used MOTY and we certainly did play a "match of the year" problem is it was by far and away our WORST match of the year. 
How the heck does that happen?  I mean I can understanding losing, but getting blown out by a team that isn't all that much higher rated when I use MoTY and they don't'?

7 Ints lol, yes far and away his worst game of the season. So MoTY helps your team throw more picks then before? 
It's not like I was 100% passing. My run to pass ratio was approximately 3/5 so fairly balanced I would think. |

Same story with me I always lose my MOTY and used it vs same team for like 2-3 seasons.
It's something about over motivating and there's some % chance of them playing worse then normal when using MOTY. |

I notice you used a single QB - do you think it might be that the much increased PC loss for MOTY games meant he was permanently exhausted and playing worse because of that?

you should analyzing your game. You will find reasons for the blow out. 3 times 5-3-3 or 4-4-3. These are the defense formations in the current engine with the most long TDs allowed. This should be a known problem after half of a season. one time your FS blitz. result was a 65yrds TD pass because of no backfield tackle possible. many interceptions were made on medium pass by you. I don´t think that the general risk of interception would change by using moty. like described moty means 1.02-1.05 of the performance of each player. The ratings doesn´t show everything. they depend on many things one is for example substitutions. The blow out came by bad backfield vs pass and the interceptions. Th game itself was controlled by your team. you had 21 first downs. your opponent only 14. |

Every single time I've ever used MOTY I have lost the game. I am 0-7 using MOTY. I don't use it anymore. On multiple occasions I've played a team twice in a season and used MOTY on one of the games. The game I used MOTY on was a blowout loss. The other game was a win for me.
I will never use it again. |
