So if you play much 3-3-5 and dime you don´t need so much DL or LB and have spots free for your 335/dime. What´s the problem?

Oh, OK - I'll just abandon short yardage then.

That is a decent point - but there is an issue.

Why be unnecessarily unrealistic? As already pointed out, there is great interchangeability between CB/SF.

CBs - faster, better Pos/Ag
SFs - smarter, better Vis/Str/Tack

The OOPP takes care of itself imo.

True, but this game is all about choices. The more development players you chose to have on your roster, the less you will have available for flexibility on your 55 man roster.

Ultimately, a 55 player depth chart should be plenty to allow for sufficient players in all positions - it does for me

But this still doesn't address the AC issue, which will be he bigger challenge. How would you propose we change the ACs?

Would you discuss or making fun? Then the discussion is over.

You wrote you will play 335 and dime and need 11 DBs. You never wrote something about other formations or how often you use these formations. So what? if you only use these two you have enough free spots to cover these 11 DBs.

This all reminds me of pete pointing out that if you run out of CBs in a game, but you have spare SFs in the 55 then the SFs sub for them (and vice-verse).

What I don't know is whether the OOPP applies in that case?

Issue?

Ummm, scrap CB and SF ACs and have a DB AC!
