Yep, he's close to an unstoppable monster - Gladiators lost one game this season - he was injured!

He's a good example of pete's hint pre season about agility too. I got beat by a similar sort of player at WR in the playoffs too - 3 missed tackles on 2 plays for 2 TD. But my D needs training too.

If you have a mediocre D and the other team has a super agile monkey, you're in a lot of trouble!

I'll have to remember that in future - both a distraction and also get them to slip over on the peels!

But are these guys really monsters? in the skills every player could definitely reach 35. The avg of the skills will be 40 when teams are full developed in the future. Thats what the powermode tell us and thats what the skillcaps by talent tell us.

The manual says that skill of 50 is only 100% of player performance. Skill 40 is 95% and this will be the avg. Sure at the moment there are only few teams with high skilled players. And true is also that new teams have no chance to beat teams who are here for 5-6 seasons. Is it because of monster player?

with the salary increase it wouldnt be possible to have a team only with monsters.

The most user develop first the physical skills cause their cap is unknown. Maybe this is the case why high physicals are calling monsters?

So im little bit confused about monster players I dont think that they are really exist here.

If I look at my 2 DEs and their stats the guy with strength and speed under 45 is better then the guy with physicals above 45. (other skills are similar) the "monster" has even little less sacks and forced fumbles then the other DE. their success tackle % is equal.

I think your math is wrong.

As far as I know every player has a "base amount" of 50% per skill. The skills we see and train are added on those 50%.

That means a player with a skill of 50 is at 100%. A player with a skill of 40 is at 90%.

Maybe Pete can validate this or correct me.

The Manual says it:

Players have skills, these skills determine how good or bad a player is. We have skills like Kicking where the range is from 1 to 50, and we have skills like Physical Condition measured in percent from 1 to 100. A skill of kicking 1 doesn’t mean the skill is at the lowest possible level - and the player could not kick at all. Rather it means the player is at 75% of his kicking ability. And the player could gain the missing 25% of his kicking by raising the skill to 50.

So I stand corrected
