Okay, I think the consensus is that you put your best OLinemen at the tackle spots (to stop the pass rush from the DEs).

So the question is, where do you put your next best OLinemen?? Center or Guard? Why?

Thanks,

Steve

the current Centres only come into effect against NT's so that's worth considering.

It also depends on how much you value your run game.

I think you also have to define what makes them your best OL guys
strength and blocking aside
What else? positioning, footwork
where do you place aglity and speed and intelligence on the Oline?

Yes, I guess it goes to the question of future defensive formations - - will people use most 3, 4 or 5 men Dlines.

I guess, for passing, the guard and centers don't seem to make much different. Who normally block a blitzing LB/Safety?

Intelligence has influence on my OL. Smart has weak skills, but still plays well. OC but do not play anything, even against weak opponents.

Thats a great question mate. Does it depend on what direction the blitz is coming from? From the outside or inside? Could depend on who blitzes. OLB/FS from the edge and MLB/SS through the middle.

So with passing, the 3 interior O-linemen don't contribute much to pass protection, right?
