After following the feats of Lance Armstrong during his seven Tour de France victories I decided to make an online purchase of a pack of Livestrong wristbands.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation - The program is intended to raise money for the Livestrong Foundation (originally the Lance Armstrong Foundation), which supports cancer survivorship. Since his shame I have thrown them in the bin...along with my memories |

I've been watching cycling for 10 years and since the operation Puerto scandal came out it's been clear to me, that everybody used to dope at that point in time. That's why I don't get all the commotion now.

Everyone that enjoyed success during that era used enhancing substances. |

Everyone that enjoyed success during that era used enhancing substances. And those that did not were put under pressure from their teams to dope... The most sickening side of everything to me is the fact that those who tried to blow the whistle on it got threatened with lawsuits - threats of being sued for telling the truth! And Mr Armstrong was guilty of that. Most of those who got caught just took their punishment quietly, his reaction to the allegations makes him nothing short of a criminal in my eyes...... Deny deny deny I'll sue you if you don;t shut up, and you.. deny deny deny. Oh I'm sorry Now I've apologised you should all feel sorry for me and let me compete again, everyone was at it. No Lance, they may have been at it but they did not speak out so vociferously against it, continue to deny it for years, threaten people, and make vast amounts of money from a 'clean' image which has been shown to be lies. I fully expect to see him convicted of fraud in the none-too-distant future. |

Armstrong will be in court many times in the next few years.
The companies/organisations/individuals that he sued (and often won the case) in the past are now taking proceedings against him. The company that paid out on an "insurance bond" against him winning the Tour 5 times in a row will certainly be wanting it's money back (plus damages). I'd be amazed if some American doesn't start a "class action lawsuit" against him. Floyd Landis has started a "whistleblower" lawsuit against him ......... lol, a certain irony there though as Landis is also a fraud and a doper The Anti-Doping bodies will be trying their hardest to get Armstrong to reveal names of doctors/suppliers etc ..... obviously the more times he is in court, the more chance somebody will ask the right questions .... if he lies under oath then he will be going to jail .....remember, that's what happened to Marion Jones. The most profitable job in town for the next 5 years is being Armstrong's lawyer |
