Here is the official answer

Screen pass: behind the Line of Scrimmage
Short: 0-10 yards over the Line of Scrimmage
Medium: 10-20 yards over the Line of Scrimmage
Deep: 20+ yards over the line of Scrimmage

Please note: the distances mean the progress by the pass itself, not the carrying progress after the catch - this would be Yards after Catch (on ToDo). The yards for the Pass success in the stats are always "Progress from the line of Scrimmage to the end of the play...

Who woulda thought to look in the manual for the answer?

Interesting too - any time I have selected med, it has been 15yd min. So maybe there is med passes thrown from pass and long passes thrown from med? Maybe if you s e l e c t long it will be min 25yd but if you s e l e c t med you might get long passes of 20yd?

This overlap is confusing though.

i think the consensus is just to s e l e c t pass and let the QB decide what is best based on his skills

I think that there are too many interceptions.................4 or 5 interceptions per side per game,...with nearly half of them returned for TD's is just not right.

In his last Friendly (tonight), 8 attempts to go Deep ..... 5 INTerceptions

looks like we could all learn some lessons from Uncle Bagss

My playbook isnt set up fully yet. Right now I just have out of the ordinary situations covered. So the ONLY plays in my playbook that I have that pass deep is if its 3rd and 21+. But my playbook is only used in certain situations. Otherwise my match settings are used.......which you CANT choose deep or medium etc......just prefer pass, or mainly pass...........

But the point still stands,...there is something SERIOUSLY wrong if 5 of 8 pass attempts deep are intercepted.

Your QB's are scrubs.

Glenn Erickson - 29.4 STR, 13.7 PASS, 14.4 VIS & 24.6 INT
Tim Rendon - 37.7 STR, 12.8 PASS, 11 VIS & 25.3 INT
Ty Doyle - 30.5 STR, 14.7 PASS, 15.6 VIS & 42.2 INT

All 3 are scrubs, so what do you expect when you pass the ball 74 times against a team that is vastly superior to your's (on paper). After checking your QB's and the game I'd say you got lucky they only threw 5 picks.

And I didn't even bothered to check your receiving unit, but I'm sure beeing a young team they are scrubs to.

Fair point............but how do you explain the team I am played against,...which WASNT scrubs,...and they threw 5 ints as well?

EDIT- I can answer that though,...he was probably using his backups and his team chemistry is low......

Also I did play on relaxed,...which is another factor in the poor performance.
