Only Pete and those involved in the programming etc know for certain.
I have a basic knowledge of it though after reading other posts in the forum. Its calculated using the result score venue and the rankings of the two sides. You get more points for beating a side with similar ratings than you would for hammering a bot |

ignore some of the points made by turtlemania, not all is true Sorry Admin i forgot to state, what is my fault, thank you for remembering: My statement is valid for ranking as was calculated in Season 5 I did not observe it in Season 6 because i do not read anywhere that there is change Same for season 7 so maybe by mid season i will put some figures on table to manifest my statement because, i hope i wrong, i think it is same calculation as in Season 5 |

there was no change that cant be found in the changelog
to all others: just be careful, sometimes it is a fact, sometimes it is just an users opinion... one thing is right: the base is the team strength, and the game result. wrong in that post: you dont need to win 100:0 ("hammer a team down") to receive the maximum possible ranking points |
