I'm not letting that TM chang go out like that... I might be a little late to seeing that the market idea is dead but the Poll results say the community wants the change.
We had people of all sides of the argument and reach a least a tentative foundation on how the proposed system is supposed to work and OUT OF THE BLUE the system gets scratched because...... for what?!!!! I cant stress it enough... the current system is bullshit. For there not to be another option.... even if its some what flawed.. is an egregious oversight. How can you claim that the dissent on both sides is too strong so we have to keep the current system... when there is MORE DISSENT WITH THE CURRENT SYSTEM?! I dont have a choice Pete... our hands are forced to use that damn system because there is NO OTHER way to get players. NONE!!! We went 30 pages on a thread and arguments and proposals were laid on ten times over... with well throughout elements.. and its just scrapped.... because... the dissent was too strong. man I'm done with this TM system. All these cosmetic changes are weak sauce if your not prepared to make a major overhaul. All props to a change in game system but my god man it means nothing we cant all have a fair shake to build the teams we want. If it sounds like I'm pissed its because I really am. I got super excited for the new system.. bugs and all... and now I gotta go even further into this game without using one of the primary factors involved. I have over 600million in the bank and I havent won any tournaments/playoffs/champ of champs etc... You should only have that type of cash if your winning games or something. I'm just sitting on cash losing games in the process because I cant afford to be online checking the minutes on a particular player. Its not fun Pete.... Its not fun. You may recluse yourself from the market for whatever reasons you desire but I for one would like to participate and have a fair shot in that part of the game. I'm sick of this... and I'm sick of not having a fair shake at winning because of it. My league mates know that I'm far from perfect in this game but when i learn something new and have a chance to correct it I do. There was an option on the table and that option had the votes...that option was the only chance guys of the mind like myself had in correcting that part of our team... and your damn right i'm upset. I dont want to wait to season 8,9, 13, 20.... I've waited 7 already. |

Sorry but how could you say there is more dissent with the current TM system?
There was no poll or survey about the current TM system. The poll for the Trade market wasn´t about a replacement of the current system too. So you couldn´t say there is more dissent with the current TM system. |

What I think about our transfer market is that it's not really bad. The only things I would change is: -allow to sign free agents outside transfer market(what you, dear managers didn't like or don't care) -shorten time extention after last bid from 2 minutes to 1 minute what would make bid wars shorter. Rest is moreless ok. |

Can only remember suggestions about making it bigger. I'm not the biggest fan of the current TM. But the biggest flaw imo is bids going on for ~30/40mins after the deadline because of people waiting for the last few seconds and min raising. My only interest -
Ebay + some sort of veto/watchdog system I doubt I'll ever have much time for any other suggestion. |

What puzzles me is that we only had one new suggestion for TM changes. I think instead we should collect a number of suggestions (incl. the E-bay system, which Pete does not like) and let the community vote which one would suit best.
Once voted, we should try a new TM system for an entire season and see if it works better. If it does not, again let the community decide, then we could switch back to the former system. Although I highly respect Pete, I always had the feeling he was one of the very few guys here who disliked E-bay style. Fair enough one could say, he is the game owner. |

I open to check a new, or even any new system but i do not like this part Toni! Why not have 2 systems parallel, so in case the "new one fails total" still have the already known as backup possible? |
