just leave, dont put anyone on the TM. i would suggest take a break but at this point im not sure saying why you left would change anything.

If you choose to leave is there a way to find a newbe to give your account to?? " Pete is this allowed"?? Just send the new player your e-mail and pass word and than new player can change personal info within??

Well - a week has gone by and I find that I'm not spending any time here at all.
Time for me to hang up the cleats. Someone asked me "why". Pretty simple answer - parity. If you've been here longer than others -you have an advantage that does not seem to be easy to over come. You will have more cash to buy better players, and to spend more on salaries. The recent changes to the game are only widening the gap between older, established teams, and those who are just starting out, or are in their third season. An equal number of teams in each league also adds fuel to the imbalance. Pete you should strongly consider a pyramid type of league structure, then the handful of uber teams simply play each other, rather than beating up on a team that just promoted from 2.2 to 1.1. I know you will say that you added a league, 3.1 - but you put it at the 'bottom' when it should have gone to the top (0.1 ?). A second reason I'm leaving is Football fundamentals - the FB does not block on running plays. WTF?. The Center will not block anyone unless a defender lines up right across from them. WTF? On punts and kickoffs, you cant even really call them football plays - - 1 returner vs 2 gunners - -last I heard there were 11 players from each team on the field for each and every play. Make all the players count. Lastly - the "playbook". It is not nearly flexible enough. We are forced to use on formation for a down-and-distance situation - -heck, we are all even forced to use the same "down and distance" situations. Finally - - games are totally boring to watch. I can easily get over the bad English grammar, but there is nothing to "watch". Games are overly difficult to scout - we are forced to read the game, not watch it. And with the limited playbook there is, in my opinion, no real reason to spend much time trying to dial in the proper play for a specific down and distance. Pete - your are a good guy. The most interactive game designer I've had the pleasure to know. I wish you well. I will put my players on the TM (as most of the folks on this thread suggested). I'll take a week or so to sell them off - then I'll delete my bookmarks, never to log in again. Peace, Fish |
