An equal number of teams in each league also adds fuel to the imbalance. Pete you should strongly consider a pyramid type of league structure, then the handful of uber teams simply play each other, rather than beating up on a team that just promoted from 2.2 to 1.1. I know you will say that you added a league, 3.1 - but you put it at the 'bottom' when it should have gone to the top (0.1 ?).

I think this might be an important part to consider...

He seems to be suggesting that, yes. I suppose you could move every conference champion from the 1.1 leagues to this new league.

How would this help?

The let´s call it "superleague" would perhaps cost a little money to the big teams cause of lost money from loosing more games cause of the harder competition i don´t see any other difference.

I think what fish tried to suggest is that in order to have more parity the top teams should be playing on a league of their own. Like a super league or something.

Rough Example:

Super League - Top four teams from each league move up to play here.

Promotion the SuperLeague (1st season) - The two teams that go to the bowl game plus the two that got knocked out in the Conference game. After the first season, 1.1 league champions would move up to the so called Super League, a total of 8 teams.

Relegation From the SuperLeague - The bottom 8 teams with the worst record of the regular season will be relegated to the 1.1 leagues.

I think 'Fish is suggestion something like that.

I thought we had this anyway? It's called the Admirals League.

On a serious note though lets just say the bottom four teams come from Admirals, Fire, Dragons and Claymores but the top four teams to promote are from Sea Devils, Thunder, Monarchs and Galaxy.

Who gets relegated and into what league do they go? I believe I have seen Pete post that a team can't move from one league to another because of a database issue so would this mean that no one promotes? This could get very messy very quickly
