What I think he's suggesting is to get rid of regions and have one big pyramid. Managers could still choose when they'd like to play their home games. Something similar to the supercup but with the strongest teams concentrated on the top. Region names could be given to league levels.

I thought we had this anyway? It's called the Admirals League. LOLADMIRALS. bwadders76 wrote:On a serious note though lets just say the bottom four teams come from Admirals, Fire, Dragons and Claymores but the top four teams to promote are from Sea Devils, Thunder, Monarchs and Galaxy.
Who gets relegated and into what league do they go? I believe I have seen Pete post that a team can't move from one league to another because of a database issue so would this mean that no one promotes? I have no idea man, don't you see I was just trying to shad some light into what 'Fish was suggesting. That is if he infact was suggesting something along the lines of what I posted. bwadders76 wrote:This could get very messy very quickly

I think it's all right now. If someone wants to have less human opponents then it's possible to find such a league. Just compare where is more free spots when choosing the league. |

How do relegations and promotions work in such a system? How long stay these TOP teams in that TOP league?
Does it replace their 1.1 divisiions or is the new league a top top division? |

And how long to climb from the bottom if the pyramid to the top division? 20 seasons? Better stop thinking how would it work and keep current system which is good enough In Poland we sometimes say "better is enemy of good". This what seems to be better usually ends with a dissapointment. We already have one supercup and it's enough competition between all the world. |

I like it the way it is. There'll always be stronger and weaker teams no matter how you try and balance it. We have the Supercup and CoC for the stronger teams to battle it out
edit: Plus having the stronger teams gives you something to aim for, I played Buffalo today and mentioned in the Sea Devils forum that I was using it as a benchmark to see how close I was to the strongest teams. Without that I'd be clueless... edit 2: Reading Ranagol's post below I think I misunderstood what fish meant Last edited on 2013-02-12 20:52:23 by holmeboy |

Right now I don't have time to explain any better, but I'm sure someone will. Ranagol go at it. lol well I understood Fish the way I posted. Only 1 big region, 1.1 at the top then -> 2.x -> 3.x -> 4.x etc. This way the best teams will be concentrated at the top of the pyramid. Every team will play against teams of similar strength in their league and not the weaker "recently promoted 2.x teams" vs "the top of the 1.1 teams" where the victor is pretty obvious. |
