May I offer my opinion, as the new bottom-of-the-bottom player?

I started my team a month and a half ago. Went to Galaxy because of the time, and in 3.1 I chose AC West because it was the only division who already has 3 players. Dude, I'd rather be bashed by a human than bashing a bot, everytime. I'm playing a multiplayer game not to play against bots, right? Moreover, I really like the rivalry thing, to brag in a friendly way.

Because of what I said above, I don't know why do we have 3.* leagues, if more than half of the players are bots and the 2.* leagues seem to suffer of the same problem. Maybe this should be reviewed. If there are more players than room in 2.* leagues, it's better to have a line(queue) for new players, because the drop-out ratio is still big.

The way it is, it seems i'm going to 2.* after less than a season here, because I was able to secure a wild card spot (all two wild card conference spots came from my division, which makes me proud) and there are plenty of bots in 2.*, so it was somewhat a nice experience, despite the bots. BUt i'm looking forward more player-vs-player games.

About keeping parity, one said that the game was supposed to look like NFL, so I started thinking about NFL ways to keep parity (which by the way is the source of league's success). I've seen that you already have the draft, but what about a salary cap? I mean, everybody in the same league tier has a maximum amount to be spent on players wage. This is one of the most difficult things to do in today's NFL, and it avoids superteams to take place.

Well, I hope I was clear. I'm really enjoying the game and I think Peter deserves all the credits. Congratulations, pal.

P.S.: By the way I'm brazilian and I'm sad to see few BR players here, and I am motivated to be the 1st BR player in a 1.* league.

i think with the great disparity between teams just starting the game and teams that have been established for 7 seasons now, it's very necessary for the 3 different divisions. division 2 would be hell for new players if they had to enter it and had almost all human opponents.

while i think 99% of the ppl will agree w/ u about humans vs bots and who they'd rather play, the problem is new players kinda need to be able to beat up on someone to build TC and whatnot. i think it's fine the way it is.
