For the CoC keep it the same but
a) replace the bots with actually players (if poss) b) make this cup a power mode cup , then we will really see who is the best  |

How about you split the CoC into three competitions for each level of team.
The Division 1 version would only have 16 teams so to win it there is just four games but against top opposition. Division 2 has 32 teams so they have 5 games to win it and the winners can say that they was the best Division 2 team in RZA from the previous season. Division 3 has 64 teams and 6 games to win it. Each winner has bragging rights in their own division and the lesser sides has more chance of winning their competition. Also you could schedule all games to be played at a neutral maxed out stadium so that the Division 2 and 3 teams will earn slightly more money than the Division 1 teams thus helping them close the gap on the established sides. Each competition becomes more competitive and gives lesser teams a better chance of success. |
