Atlanta pick up Steven Jackson to replace the outgoing Michael Turner - mildly surprised at this - Jacquizz Rodgers had shown promise and i had them pegged to pick up a decent RB in the draft - though admittedly im not sure how strong the draft class is this year at that position.

Jackson very much a short term plug though - Atlanta always seem more visionary to me......

From what I've read, the Falcons have to many shaky positions on both lines. Wouldn't be too surprised if they target O/D-Line in the first rounds.
From that point of view signing Steven Jackson makes kinda sense.

So the 49ers sign Safety Craig Dahl from the Rams!!!! Guy was one of the worst safeties in the league last season and he ends up in a top team! 49ers fans must be hoping they sign someone else and place Dahl on the bench...forever if possible.

Don't think it's that much of a downgrade .... Dashon Goldson seemed to have a big reputation, but I always thought he was over-rated and prone to big mistakes.

However, I was hoping for someone much better than Dahl .... but there do seem to be plenty of good Safeties in the Draft ... hopefully they can pick one from there.

From what I've heard, it seems Dahl is destined for special teams and situational play on D against NFC west teams whom he knows well. That's specialization for you.

At least if this doesn't work out for him, he can go back to writing books about eccentric candy manufacturers.

The raiders give up 2 Draftpicks in 2014 and 2015 for Matt Flynn. This sound "cheap" to me. Now lets see what the Cardinals are willing to pay for Palmer. I hope they wait until the Raiders release Palmer.

Which picks are they ?

btw.... I doubt if it is "cheap", The Raiders have a long history of overpaying for all their Trades. Time will tell though.

A late round pick in 2014 and a conditional pick in 2015.

Revis-Island is now a Bucc and the higehst payed CB. After the injury of Revis, this could be one of the greatest boom or bust trades.
