I was 3-1 riding a two game winning streak coming into today's game against an undefeated team. Stadium size is maxed out, the stadium condition after the game is 94%. Don't know what it was before the game but I assume it was a bit more than that. I managed to attract 111.000 people. That's way too low. In real life this match would have been sold out three hours after opening the ticket counters. What do you think?

Either a winning or losing streak has nothing to do with stadium attendance, it is based on the last 10 official games regardless of season. You have 1 loss this season and you've ended season 6 with two playoff losses. That's a 7-3 W/L ratio. Plus your stadium condition. Plus randomness.

With that record Petes random factors which can be as much as
+/- 3000 and 96% stadium condition which is another 2% deduction 111k doesn't sound a million miles away from what it should be.

Like I said: I think the logic is flawed. If you're 7-3 in the NFL and you're playing one of the league's best teams, you won't have problem selling all your tickets.

Or in the Claymore League

They wouldn't go 7-3 and I'm a Dolphins fan.

Seriously for the OP where would you suggest the drop in fans come in? 5-5

Spiff has a point.

In real life a small team nomather what their W/L avererage is will sell out if they get the top team in their stadium.
But in this scenario the small team usually has a significant smaller stadium also.
Not agree with the system as it is, but really don't know how you would make a more realistic system mathematicly.

that may be but back up a second and rethink these statement.

WHEN A stadium condition is down. SO ARE THE SEAT THAT CAN BE USED

so yes he may have his stadium built up but if the condition is down it like having a section of the stadium shut down. means no use,no one allowed in, or danger roof might fall in here.

so if your stadium is at 94% condition so out of the 144300 seats only
135642 available. Well well I guess you have a point you should of had a other 20k at the game lol
so something is wrong then

The whole concept of attendance based on available seats is flawed. Seat capacity does not attract fans. The attendance equation should initially calculate independent of seats. Then, once the calculation is complete, compare it to available seats as a "cap."

As it stands right now, building more seats attracts more fans. That's pretty silly. If I have a 30,000 person stadium that routinely sells 20,000 seats, I should suddenly attract 40,000 fans because I make my stadium bigger? I wasn't capacity limited to begin with and wasn't selling out, so building more seats shouldn't matter. The only time building more seats should make sense is if you're selling out at your current stadium size.

It should work something like (League Level factor) * (Win-Loss Record) * (Team + Opponent Pristege) = attendance, not to exceed stadium capacity. [refined to make numbers work ]

A 1.1 league 12-4 playoff-bound team should be selling out a max stadium (maybe).

A 3.2 league 12-4 team should fill a small 30K stadium at most

A 3.2 league 6-10 team should only sell 20K or so seats on average. I don't care if they build the Taj Mahal of stadiums...they're just not going to attract 100,000 fans to their mediocre minor-league game.
