I know there is a longest run thread and a longest INT return thread but I thought it might be interesting to put them all into one longest play thread and add the other types as well. We should add the rest for longest pass/reception, punt, fumble return, punt return, kick return, and FG. Thought it may be handy to have them all in one place instead of making more threads.
I haven't gone back to scour all my play by plays but every once in a while I see a play that makes me wonder where it stacks up on the all-time list. I think I may go back and check things over but for now I do have one contribution. Back in season 4 I was still in 2.1 but my kicker (at the time his STR was around 33-35 I think and kicking skill is still under 20 because I switched him to punter) booted a 66-yard FG in a SC game. thought this was pretty cool though it showed a severe hole in my D
0:15 3 and 11 to go on own 40, Mantas Vanagas (OC) snaps the ball to Jehad Guma Kara (QB), Jehad Guma Kara (QB) selected Burt Randall (WR/L) as target, Franklin Bull (SS/R) goes for the blitz, Domas Levinskas (FB/R) blocks, the pass goes outer left to the receiver, who catches the ball, there is no defensive back around to tackle him, the result is a 60 yards pass (Shotgun 2 WR vs. 4-3-4) heres the match itself second win |
