I have though about that some time and did not find it in the todo or suggestions so I will give it a try. If it was discussed before and declined or there is a way I can't see, let me know it.

I think it would be nice if you could make gamesettings for each quarter or maybe half to bring more random in the game without making a big playbook.

For now I play (nearly) the same way the whole game when I use the gamesettings and add additional stuff via the playbook like rush short or something like that.

But it's not possible when I want to rush a lot in 1st half and pass more in the second without blowing up the playbook.

It might have a few disadvantages I know, like the scouting of the opponent would be very hard because you can change your gameplay by quarter and so on.

Aren't you afraid that it would be a mess to set up a game then, having "hundreds" of choices?

That also was one of the disadvantages when breaking it down to quarters. That you end up with a kind of mess, but it is a gameplan for a quarter. The main thing I mean is, to shuffle the passing and rushing game more over the whole game... EDIT: ...on downs

I know that it is possible with the playbook (created one) and it has a lot of rows. Not so much as some people said in other threads but enough to make it quite hard to work with in my opinion.

I understand that it is tightrope walk because when you want to trick the D you need to work a lot on your playbook.

When I think about it maybe the thing would be better in discussions?

Personally I'm not a fan of making the match settings per quarter. I feel that there is a tool to create such variation in a game.... the playbook.

More flexible, user friendly playbook would solve all problems related to gameplanning imo

what i miss in the playbook though is something like the "prefer pass" or "pass and rush" or these kind of things you could do in the match settings.

i would really want to say to my team on 2nd down pass 40 % of the time. or something like this

I mean something like that. It don't have to go over the gamesettings when you can make it easy in the playbook too.

But if I remember correct something like that is on todo?
