I heard this guy on the radio: Bjoern Werner. He's a German how played 3 years of football at Florida State and is now a top-10 type prospect for the upcoming draft. I believe he played for the Berlin Adler club team when he was younger. He's a big kid, 6-4/255 lbs and plays Defensive End. It will be interesting to see where he goes and how he does at the new level. Steve SD Blitz |

Yes, he played for Berlin Adler Youth Team before he went to FSU.
I saw him win the German Football League Junior Championship against the Cologne Falcons 2009. Never had guessed he would become such a high value prospect. He was very good, no doubt, but so were several other on the field that day. He did all things right to get into college by playing often in the US as exchange student to get the scout attention. |

There is Markus Kuhn and Tom Nütten has a german mother and did grow up in germany. Several others did try to get into the nFL when they were part of the World League / NFL Europe, but non made it to the final roster. |

Tom Nütten was no Football player, at least he wasnt talking like one when being the Superguest for the Superbowl |

According to some mock drafts, Werner is the top DE prospect.
