Yeah, that WR of yours is a perfect example. It's not how good the catching is, it's the strength and agility and a little speed. That sort of strength and agility in a player makes them extremely difficult to bring down!

One needs to really beware the ratings - one great receiver on an O can mean a potent passing game but that's not reflected in the rating. That would be because you also need a QB who can throw and an OL who can keep the defense at bay long enough for the great receiver to get open. Not necessarily. The point is, if the ball gets in that receivers hands 4 or 5 times per game then that can be 2 or 3 TDs right there. I basically lost my divisional final last year because 1 receiver broke 3 tackles on 2 separate plays for long TDs. It was the engine 2.0! |

It was the engine 2.0! Sure, it was easier to smoke Ds then but 3 broken tackles is 3 broken tackles. |

I am WAY down compared to the last engine on giving up long tds.
Last season at this point I'd given up 6 td's longer than 50 yards for league games. This season so far I've given up 1. Last season in league play I'd given up 134 points by this point. This season I've given up only 72 total points in league games. Last edited on 2013-02-26 20:03:17 by sfniner08 |

Yet another example that proves that game planning is a waste of time and the current engine is screwed up. I am royally pissed.
