It is no doubt like chemistry - 0% chem = 80% skills, 50% chem = 90% skills, etc.

Would be great if Pete could confirm this. I've been wondering about impact of EXP for a long time.

I've never wondered, it has a HUGE impact. So the thing about 0,5* EXP being only 10% of the skill isn't too far-fetched imo.

Especially since I remember Pete saying a long time ago that the skills we see aren't the complete picture, more like the players already have 75 of their max 100 points when they are "born" and the max 50 skills we see in the player's page results for the remaining 25 points. So a perfect 100 skilled player with 0,5* EXP would mean 75+2,5=77.5, and one with 5* EXP means maxed out at 100.

Or something like that....

Would it be fair to say that even if a player is 40+ Spd/STR/INT/TW but he is <= 1* EXP and over 22yo that he wont make most good (div 1) squads?

Pretty sad if that's the case - way to much emphasis on this!

Obv depends on his skillset too... It seems to have a bit impact on ratings so what Ranagol said could be true...

Well, hosh's and Ranagol's scenarios hugely differ from each other.

If hosh is right, then we don't need to worry too much about EXP, since 2 stars may mean players still perform at 80%ish of their skill levels.

But if Ranagol is right, then we can dump all EXP 1-2 players into the bucket.

If Pete is right...a low experienced player will perform less good. With saying that, I prefer having high experienced players all day. But ignoring low EXP players? That is too much...

So listen to Hoshagol...

So does that mean that

a) Hosh is right, i.e. 2.5 EXP equals about 87%? Or

b) Ranagol is right, i.e. 2.5 EXP equals about 50%?

This single fact both are wrong. You cannot translate EXP to skill%. Hosh is a bit right for the claculation of "SKILLS", while ranagol is a bit right about how Experience influence the skills...

I don't like the idea of anything mating with hosh. The risk of spawning another hosh is too great
