I was checking the stats from my game and I noticed that my top LB missed 5 tackles today which is the same total as 11 1.1 league games combined so I checked the play by play to try to find out what happened.
There is no commentary to say that he missed any tackles but he did go for the blitz five times which leads me to believe that failed blitzing counts as a missed tackle. Is this correct? If so should it be the case as the QB could get rid of the ball before the blitz gets to him or as in four of these cases the plays were running plays so in effect he wasn't even involved in the play? |

Simple answer, there are no missed tackles counted on basic blitzes...
