Finally reached my first ever final in a Friendly cup. My D was outstanding today which meant the Offense didn't need to do much to pick up the win.

I guess it will probably be a rematch against Baltimore in the final

Bit of a dull game compared to Sunday?

Wow... really pissed at my offence right now . Probably the worst my offence has ever played. Pleased with my defence, they kept you at bay for the full game, but so frustrated at my offence. We've played some really good games of late, but this was atrocious.

Good luck in the final man! Hope your defence plays as well then!

It sure was although I don't think I could take it if every game went the same way as Sunday's so was happy to get a comfortable victory!

The D was all about playbook- you always ran out of Pro Set and passed out of Shotgun 2WR so it was easy to set a D against which would shut you down. My advice would me to put a bit more variety in your playbook so that its not so easy for someone who looks at your past few games to know exactly how to set no their D.

Atma City Tribune Sports

-Toilet Bowl I edition-

Rematch is the word for the first ever Toilet Bowl, which finds the Plymouth Admirals visiting Barad-dur stadium to once again face the Baltimore Ravens. The Admirals and Ravens faced off earlier in the Toilet Bowl tournament, with Admirals beating the Ravens 35-17 with an impressive showing by QB Antoine Hamer who threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns.

Admirals offense was complimented by their OL holding off the powerhouse DL of the Ravens with Aaron Munoz leading the charge with 23 good blocks and only 5 misses, and producing 15 pancakes. LB Kalle Kelo added 4 tackles, a fumble recovery and a 57 yard interception scamper for a touchdown to seal the deal.

“The Baltimore Ravens as always, show up hungry for a big win, and this day was no different. We stood our ground, and had solid efforts on both sides of the ball.” Admirals head coach Fayard Bacchus said.

The Ravens have indeed made a statement since their only tournament loss, and put an exclamation on their final four appearance against the O-Town Raiders winning 41-0.

Two touchdown grabs by WR Juraj Moravek gave him mvp honors, perhaps a portention to other Raven WR’s to do their part for a first half lead 14-0. Hugo Patocka and Daniel Hubarek both offensive linemen, held back the Raiders’ stubborn DL, getting both of them 23 successful blocks and nearly keeping QB Pour and Vondra’s jerseys dirt-free.

The Raven defense danced with precision and style, brought upon by Jiri Fojtik DL who picked up three tackles, two bags and two sacks making things difficult for Raiders QB Ty Schilling. Schilling was sacked for a total of five times.

Plymouth Admirals had an instant spark with a 22 yard interception by CB Branden Girard finished up by a missed fieldgoal, but it ignited their crowd at Candlestick Park on the very second play of the game against their opponent the Oldham Typhoons.

The Admirals stingy defense kept the Typhoons out of the end-zone, led by Sheldon Head DL taking eight tackles and three bags. The consistent DE threat of Burton Bone, walked off the field triumphant with a three tackle, two bag and two sack night.

But to get the points needed for the big win was Admirals kicker Hugo Delvalle, who went for 4/5 kicks with a 45 yard fieldgoal being his longest. Honorable mention has to be Kalle Kelo LB, who got the last score of the game with a 27 yard interception for a touchdown. Admirals grabbed the victory, 19-0.

With the Toilet Bowl I championship set, Atma City has been busy with preparation of their cup festivities. The events for the celebration include a 20 yard carry of a complete toilet race, a fan favorite passing a football into a toilet challenge, and of course, the toilet obstacle race.

New this year is the giant toilet placed behind the field goal posts. Filled up by air, the giant toilet is nearly 66% the width of the distance between the two field goal posts. Based upon where a participant kicks the ball and if it lands into the toilet determines the winner.

“This is really exciting, Atma City knows how to throw a party for teams and fans” Admirals CB Norman Bounds was quoted as saying, “After I retire, enjoying this festival might be fun to bring my grandkids to.”

The Championship between the Plymouth Admirals and Baltimore Ravens at Barad-dur Stadium kicks off at 19:00 hours on 2013-05-15. Atma City Tribune wish both teams good luck and congratulations.

CONGRATULATIONS BALTIMORE RAVENS, TOILET BOWL I CHAMPS!

The Baltimore Ravens struck first blood in just under 10 minutes to go in the first quarter, scoring with a 10 yard pass from Vondra to TE Hrabinsky. The drive was set up by a strong passing of 38 yards in five plays down the field for the first score of the game.

MLB Miroslav Holubec for the Ravens made his presence known two plays later, intercepting Plymouth Admirals QB Cameron Womack and running the ball back for 18 yards. The Plymouth Admirals defense held tight against the surging Raven offense at the goalline for two plays, but HB Stanislav Janik made the third time a charm off the wishbone formation, blasting through to give the Ravens a bigger lead, 14-0.

Admirals wasted no time getting themselves back in the game with an impressive five and a half minute drive down the field, having HB Wilfredo Irizarry bringing it to the house on a five yard touchdown run. Ravens however, answered on the next drive with their own version of a clock-eating five minute drive, putting six more on the scoreboard with a five yard pass to TE Josef Bednar to keep the lead, 21-7.

The Ravens held the Admirals scoreless in the third quarter and picking up 10 points themselves with a 10 yard pass to WR Nikolas Netusil and a 38 yard field goal from Thad Gagnon. Disheartening was another impressive 67 yard march by the Admirals that had them at third and goal from the seven yard line. OLB Robert Kubin for the Ravens scooped up a fumbled ball of FB Lacy Scroggins for 44 yards, taking a scoring opportunity away from the Admirals.

The Admirals fought hard in the fourth, holding back the Ravens defense and moving the ball with a purpose, but were only able to come up with 10 more points compared to another touchdown by the Ravens, giving the Baltimore Ravens the very first ever Toilet Bowl trophy and the victory, 38-17.

Bowl organization team and Atma City thank all who participated, and hope to have Toilet Bowl II!
