Pete, Please check the following for factual accuracy (I've not built Seats for a long time, therefore I'm relying upon memory). Thanks. OK, I suggest the following :- Replace this :- "Hint: The constructed seats are available on the completion/finish date. " with this :- Seat Building Timescale Seat Building in RZA takes 5 days (inclusive). Whilst seats are being built, the affected Stand(s) is 'under construction' and therefore the whole Stand is classed as 'unavailable' to spectators. The capacity of a Stand under construction will show as zero for the duration of the construction period. The constructed seats will be available from 0030 on the completion/finish date .... for more details please see The Weekly Schedule <- - - - - - - - - Hyperlink to The Weekly Schedule in The Manual Seat Building example :- If you have a home League game on Tuesday (@ 20:00), an away Supercup game on Thursday, and a home League game on Saturday, you could do the following :- Wait until the Tuesday game has finished. Build seats on one Stand (or all 4 Stands) at 2130 (or any time after the game but before midnight). The Stand(s) will be closed for 5 inclusive days ..... this means that the Stand(s) will be available @ 0030 on Saturday. Therefore if you have a Home League game on Saturday, the construction will be finished (and the new seats available) in time for the League game. IMO we should not come up with such examples, sh8888. It means when I have to change things in the code, I have to remember where-else I put relationships in the manual. The facts are: the stadium will be finished at 0:30 am on the fourthday after the construction started. The game will tell this: Are you sure you want to extend this stand? The stand will not be available until: 2013-04-03 00:00 Last edited on 2013-04-01 10:57:46 by pete |

You could allow playoff teams to switch venues. Then teams could opt to play at the bigger stadium if cash is critical to them.

Out of curiosity, is that for code reasons or philosophy?
I know its discussed elsewhere but the better ranked team is often more arbitrary based on bot schedules, especially at lower levels. Philosophically if a team is willing to give up their 1% advantage, presumably knowing they are not truly the stronger team, why not let them? This is almost exclusively a Div 3 situation as stadiums are a newbie aspect of the game as currently coded. Shouldnt a minor league team be able to choose to play their playoff match where they can sell enough tickets? Our high school playoff games were held at a local college stadium |

Hello,
It appears that was made due to a missing information. player wrote:I built a new section of my stadium and I thought it would finish by the 2nd April but its only finishing on the 3rd. If I had known it would finish the 3rd there is no way I would have started construction

If there was no warning of when the stadium would be finished, then why thinking it would be on the 2nd of April and not thinking it would be on the 3rd (or 1st or 4th) ? i made my choice and it is not my mistake but it's your fault. I really can not understand such behaviour. Last edited on 2013-04-03 08:17:03 by Drogon |
