I agree with Pete on this one. Most players start with ~2* experience. And only a few should be reaching 5*.

I think gaining 2-2.5* in about 7/8 seasons is about right.

Now we just need Hosh to agree

edit: But as long as players are consistantly reaching 4* I don't think there's a problem. Like you said not everyone should reach 5*.

I disagree.

We have already limitations to the developing of a player: caps, TW and talent are enough to not allow a full developement of any player, so your thought should be reformulated as "only a few extraordinary good players should hit the maximum in terms of skills and physicals ever"

dont forget that it is close to impossible to train all requiered skills (primary, secondary) to a high lvl, 40,45+ before that player retires..

Why would to want most players to max the scale? It should be nearly impossible to max anything, experience included. That adds strategy and tactics- - different approaches to winning.

You could always pop a 19yo to the pros from YA, giving you 10 years for experience

Sorry.

All I have to say is Marcus Allen.

Or name a host of rookies who enter the NFL and excel from the get go.

That is not to say they don't improve with time, but I agree with Panoramix 100%. A player should be ~ 4.5 EXP after 5 seasons as a starter. What about all the plays he gets as a junior?

The other thing about this is that it renders the skills a bit meaningless. It makes the game too much about EXP and not enough about skills.

It's like happiness in Civ5!

PS - Civ 6 should be renamed to "Happiness 6".

Maybe RZA shoud be renamed to EA - EXP Action?
