Another win against SF, another Bowl for the Pigs.

But this bowl and all the last performances of SF are the demostration of the urgent need of a radical changement in the game's engine: it's no possible to obtain a winning PB with only a basic set of orders (*) and a single defensive formation. This is not football, Pete, I'm sorry.
Tonight my win was only luck on a cointoss.

(*) SF's attack set, last 4 tough matches:

1st half:
1st down 4WR pass
2nd down 4WR run
3rd down 4WR pass (3rd&1 4WR run)

2nd half:
1st down 4WR run
2nd down 4WR pass
3rd down 4WR run (3rd&1 4WR pass)

Last match:
3 sectors on 1st down (4WR run, pass, run, reversed in the 2nd half)
No orders and 4WR "prefer pass" on 2nd down
Too few plays on 3rd down to read the orders, but always 4WR

Only when your opponent's backs are very skilled and his defense is a dime.
But vs. the dime your HB can run...and run...and run...

Yeah, the dime is worst formation to defend run, doesn't really matter if it's run from sg4 or big I.
But I played lots of scrims recently testing passing and my average yards weren't bigest from sg4 and to make it clear I passed only on flanks from all formations vs all formations(even 533 and 52). And this also is one of the reasons that I don't defend anything with dime...

Actually 2nd down had the most orders out of any down in the playbook today.

I wouldn't say this is the best example of football either. We both used the s4wr excessively when in real life it isn't used all that much.

Oh yes, this is the fourth bowl won by the Pigs with the 4WR as main formation.
The problem is: if two or three formations are already few for a bowl winner, can a single formation be successful?

No disrespect intended to either of you two guys - you are both clearly great teams and managers - but it occurs to me that its your choice that you use the PB's as you do - and if youre not happy about them because they arent true to realistic - isnt it your job to adapt your PB and/or team so that it does become more realistic - even if it means you dont get the success you currently enjoy?

We want realism for sure, but dude, we want to win. I see it as my job to make my team as successful as possible, which means to win.
