Yes, the number of struggling teams having no money to survive the offseason is a clear sign for that

No, after all it is a management game, and it is the managers fault not to plan including the offseason/postseason

I don't know

I dont see where money is an issue in this game.
I have alot of money and not really anything to spend it on.
But we should help the new managers when we can.
After all,we want to keep them here and playing..right?

This was the point I was trying to make - I can understand taking a hard line towards owners who have been in the league a few seasons, but telling brand new players "tough luck" is not the best way to win them over

The number of times I have given new players advise and I always tell them to avoid coaches. Short of actually preventing them from hiring coaches there isn't much we can do to help those who aren't willing to listen

The thing that bugs me is that they have had all of these popups and warnings to not do the things that got them there in the first place. It is like the bailouts here in the US for people being irresponsible.

Keeping in the game by giving them what amounts to an advantage for being stupid, is not a good idea. That's the kind of thing that results in supporters who HAVE managed their finances sensibly, finding another game to play.

I don't think anything amounting to an advantage is necessary - my earlier suggestion was simply something that says, "for the next X weeks your only source of income will be Friendlies."

There is a difference between giving an advantage and "hand-holding." When it comes to attracting and keeping new players, I'm of the opinion that "hold-handing" is a good idea

Interesting .... just checked The Mag.
Looks like even more Teams (than after Sunday's update) are in Financial trouble .... seems as though the 1st game of the season can't arrive soon enough for some teams (assuming they're playing at Home, of course) .....
