This is not a complaint (I actually think this is an improvement), I just thought I discuss this change.
The youth pull system changed as outline in the news section: 6.) The Youth-pulls are now a bit different from each other, based on their age. Higher age means higher skills, basically. This means the manager has to make a decision on pulling such a Youngster: lower age, and therefore more time in the academy, or less time, but higher skills. So I didn't have any really quality looking younger youths available today, but there was 20 yo QB with 34 Str and 40 TW. I figured I'd give him a try - - and got a 37 Str youth (but his Strength was already capped :-( ). Dumb as a horse too... I do think this change will add a little more interest/strategy to the whole youth pull mechanism. Steve SD Blitz |

I agree! Its gives an important choice for especially low ranked team to maybe get a new starter from the youth pulls!

Great improvement. It just makes sense all around. It was a fools choice to pick a 20yo before. Now it's at least worth consideration

in my last few pulls the higher rated 20 y/os ended up having 1 or 1.5* talent, but the 17-18 y/os have almost consistently had pretty good talent ratings. fyi.

Not sure age affects talent level...I'm guessing that's just bad luck.

Don't think Talent matters much in this game ...... it's a bit like becoming US President , the lack of talent won't hinder you much, if at all

Just wondering wich president you have in mind here? And in what degree you think Int. have on this. RZA numbers, i think the Bushes are around 20-25 on Int and Clinton a 3-3½ star on talent (keeping scandals away).
Perhaps we should let RZA forum rule "the free world". Last edited on 2013-04-25 16:53:04 by Fummer |

I think you are rather too nice on the Bushes with INT at 20-25, if you added in Juniors brother Jed you might reach that level with all three added together. |
