Then Im confused again. HR is not a no brainer if Im unable to get rid of players if something better comes along, especially if they dont sell well in the TM. I thought people were saying you could fire them with a penalty You can cancel their contract for a small fee |

I thought people were saying you could fire them with a penalty Wording issues you cannot fire them (like do a kick in their ass and thats it), you have to cancel their contract (including payin them for not earned money. I guess this difference is worth an extra sentence |

The bold is FULLY true, you cannot fire them. But maybe it's still confusing and possibly deterring people for the wrong reasons? Why tell people what they can't do, if what they can't do isn't even in the vocabulary of the game? |

It should read "You can't fire the player without incurring a financial penalty."
Bet yet, "You can't terminate their contract without incurring a financial penalty." |

It would be like this
...but you can sell them on the transfer market or cancel their contract by paying a small cease fee. Still OK? |

Ok, so I switched
Negotiated an easy $1000 contract first. Then to test I clicked cancel his contract. He wants $7000+ to fire him. Thats significant if it goes up linearly to a 25000 or $50000 contract. I'm getting buyers remorse on the switch Any chance to switch back? Ive not gotten any benefit yet but Im still building aggressively off the TM and want to be able to dump weaker players as I upgrade. Seems this basically locks you in to very little rollover Napkin math: savings of 10% firing penalty of 7 times weekly wage 700% breakeven point 70 weeks or roughly 3 seasons therefore any player you fire with less than 3 seasons on your team is a financial net loss Last edited on 2013-04-16 18:03:01 by C17Ajax |
