Brown sugar, balsamic vinegar and lemon in a tomato sauce????
AAAARRRGHHHH!!!

try before you complain. the balsamico just opens the full flavor of the tomatoes, citron cest is putting a nice note into it, and sometimes tomatos are a bit sour,na small bit of sugar or honey helps then

Sorry, I'm an italian amateur chef: my religion forbids me to use such ingredients in an italian tomato sauce.

BTW: balsamico, only of superior quality (minimum 15-20 years of maturation) is great over risotto, meaf...strawberries too. But never over other acid ingredients like tomatoes.

Oh yes, the only barrier may be the language.

It's ok, but "parmisan" outside Italy (and in Italy too) is a real trap. Try "Parmigiano Reggiano DOP", minimum 24 months old.

No, low quality.
The only Parmigiano Reggiano is...Parmigiano Reggiano.
Not Grana Padano, not generic "Parmisan".
