Maybe we can share our experiences with the new blitzing rules. Do they really work as expected? I am not sure about these new rules or if there is maybe a bug or sth like that so I like to start at dsiscussion not bug forum.
In my Game today there were 70 plays by my opponent. I set my rules on 1st downs allways 25% blitz of LB and only reduce the blitz on runs for 1-3 yrds on 2nd, 3rd and 4th downs. but there were only 8 blitzes in these 70 plays and 4 of them were by SF (I set only a few rules with blitzing SF) So there were 4 LB blitzes in 70 plays. That is definitly not comparable with 25% blitzing. And I asked my the hole game "where is the blitz?" "when comes the blitz?" 1st down 2 blitz 2nd down 3 blitz 3rd down 3 blitz Last edited on 2013-04-29 19:21:53 by Nogard |

i may not be the best to reply.
I notice i do get a decent bit of blitzs now. Maybe it has to do with intelligence and what formations?? I been know for a good D-line across the board....maybe its a team effort so they can blitz? Last edited on 2013-04-29 19:52:16 by kyle-rowdy-busch |

I blitzed a lot on Saturday and got more sacks in one game than I did all last season in the league

Does the blitz %age apply to all plays, or just passing plays? That might explain your low number of blitz attempts - try comparing the %ages against the total number of plays and not just the passing plays...

its for all plays run and pass and for all plays the percentage is way too low. If it is only for passing plays the percentage would may be correct.
