Not really...are other countries forcing the US dollar on their people? Bitcoins aren't being forced on anyone, are they? And just for your information the US dollar is being forced on the population of some countries, Ecuador for example. |

Good point...not yet...my point being that if there is a global anything, it will only be a matter of time before somebody comes along to make it a standard. So yes, while this is purely speculative, and even chiming in theological possibilites and all the conspiracy theories that state the idea of total global control...see where I'm going with this?

Not sure I see where you're going to be honest, many global things are good or are at least trying to be good, think the UN or Doctors Without Borders or Red Cross... These kinds of organisations are working for the good of humans overall regardless of borders, political views, religious influence, history... Anything wrong with that in your books?
Just google Ecuador's currency if you don't believe me, I was there about a year ago and they were using US Dollars. |

Did you know the United States printed French dollars in 1944 but did not distribute them? So Steve, a dollar world was, at this time, an real idea!

The U.N. from what I have learned about them, is that there is a high rate of rapes and crime from within their organization towards who they serve. While tempting to believe in these type of groups, such as this and the others you mention, their is way too much behavior outside the intended initial purpose of these groups. This is strictly because of cultural differences, not because the participants truly see outside of their differences.

Just google Ecuador's currency if you don't believe me, I was there about a year ago and they were using US Dollars. All the concepts of being globably united have always been met with severe struggles, and these struggles boil down to cultural differences. I don't believe that I need to pray five times a day in a certain direction from a compass, yet a Muslim may decide to cut my head off for saying so. My point is that there are far too many small and great differences between all nations, and it is this reason why they stand as a nation by themselves with their own beliefs. To make anything global is a guaranteed mistake, again, in my opinion. There are beliefs that there are attempts to make a one world currency, and a one world order. Both theological and secular concepts support this idea. That is where I am going with what I am saying. I absolutely do not believe you at all are being dishonest about the situation with Ecuador, and it isn't that I don't believe you, please know this. I'm simply saying if it is true (I will take a look ), then this is a terrible thing, and it really and truly should be condemned. |

Right now I feel the discussion becomes...more...serious. Could we please put aside religious or political references? As much as I would like to go for it, there is no room in our forums. We should respect people praying 5 times a day, as we should respect those who don't.
Please be careful with your posts. Not saying we crossed the line already, but we are nearby... |

Maybe you mix United Nations and the organisations of them (UNICEF as example) with "troups under the flag of the United Nations"...this is a serious difference. |

I agree completely pete, and I really am a passionate person off this game about things, and have in the past learned bringing religious and political perspectives into something that is simply just a game is a mistake. Please accept my apologies, I will do all I can to not make hints, I am truly sorry, sometimes my passion gets to the best of me, I am sorry.Right now I feel the discussion becomes...more...serious.
