draft players ? physical debates
After looking at next year draft. I have to ask is it just me or are there only 5-10 starter and 20 or so back up and hole alot of crap. Only 3 of 8 wr have above 39 speed only 1-13 OL with more than 39 str and i could keep going but i think my point is made If pete is trying to change the quality of the player between round 1,2and 3 is a must have but take away tactical skills as most draft players most are red in the skill that matters to there position Last edited on 2013-05-09 18:28:27 by andrew2scott2 |

i noticed a decline in the quality of players in last seasons draft and it seems to have continued in this seasons draft.
2 seasons ago there were at least 5 or 6 players i would have been very happy with and consider them as gold players. but this years draft and last seasons i have struggled to see one player of similar quality. im not saying you have directly changed it as im sure theres an element of luck in it but there is definatly less 3 star players of late and the ones that are there need some work.

Is the (Sx) the season number? Why aren't they all S(4) vs. S(9) for apples-to-apples comparison? |

Admirals 1.1 draft is worse than the 2.1 draft last season.
Have a formula based grading system in excel and using the same calculations last years' won by lots and lots certainly in the top 20 or so. Its seems worse than other years as well although difficult to say as we didn't have the download then and as you say expectations go up and what seemed a good draftee 3 seasons ago doesn't look so good this year with a much stronger roster. |

Pete, do all leagues have the same quality of players in the draft?
It might make sense to make 2.x / 3.x draft a bit worse than 1.1 drafts, to discourage tanking. |
