After seeing it in the news today, I just needed to set up a test match to try out the new return thing. Well, let me start with what I believe to be a bug:

8:18 Arlen Landrum (P) punts the ball from opp 33 for 40, this is a touchback
8:14 1 and 10 to go on opp 20, Marion Morgan (OC) snaps the ball to Hans-Dietrich Müller (QB), Hans-Dietrich Müller (QB) selected Leonard Burley (WR/L) as target, the pass goes inner left to the receiver, who catches the ball, Kelley Hankins (CB/R) tackled him, forward progress: 9 yards (I-formation vs. 3-4-4)

==> The touchback resulted in a first down on OPP 20... kind of wrong side of the field. As the game went on, a TD was scored because they just had 20 yards to go.

Concerning the balancing, in sum 7 TDs were made due to kick returns. Are there only the two gunners and the punter on the field to stop the returner?

So much for now. I will run some tests in the next days.

Best,
Lasso

Wrong side of the field, but right team, after the touchback? Fixed that

Balancing is step2, as pointed out in that other thread

Hi Pete,

yes, the team was right. It happened during a scrimmage but the team was switched correctly.

Should be OK. Is it too selfish to ask you for scheduling another one

Just ran a scrimmage. Both teams using the same Depth Chart & Playbook.

The away team scored 66 points on 9 Kick/Punt return TDs & 1 FG. The home team scored 31 points on 2 Kick/Punt return TDs, a fumble return TD, a TD pass, and a FG.

Seems like you have suspected that the returns may be overpowered and I tend to agree after just one scrimmage.

as said. I made that to see these turnover-turnovers...we will reduce the numbers once the basics are stable

turnover-turnovers?

Is there anything you want me to look out for? I've got another scrimmage running right now with different DC & PB but same for both teams.

for the moment the only question is: is it right what we do on the field? Means, is the right team getting the ball at a situation? Is the LOS the right one. Do the right ones make a tackle? I mean if you see "mr x (KR) is tackling"...it would be time for a report
