I found these leagues last night. As it continues, I still cannot find a view of their games, not even in youtube, naver, dailymotion. It's good to see other nations PLAY even if it's not a mega-sport like here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_American_Football_Association
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_Football_League
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-League

there's a small list on Wikipedia, and I can ask a friend for translation help. Quality of play can be noted, but is not a concern. I want to see it.

Germany's TOp League is known as GFL, German Football League. You should find plenty of information about it on the web, including Video-stuff.

Plenty of videos can be found by doing a quick search.

Here's the 2012 Portuguese championship game. Keep in mind that American football in Portugal is almost like camel racing in the states. So yeah it doesn't get more amateur then this.

There is a French championship with 9 teams in top league. There also are two others league level with more teams. So, I would say there is 40-50 teams in France in three leagues (all non-professional).

"American" Football is recognized in France as a sport, so there are state structures to train French players.

Four French played in NFL teams but three had been cut at the end of pre-season games.
The only French who really played in NFL was Richard Tardits (LB). He was pick 123 in 1989 draft by Cardinals and played 2 seasons for the Pats.

Here is the short story of French American Football!!

On Dailymotion, there are some games if you did the search "championnat elite de football américain"

Thank you everyone who responded in this thread.

I will study these teams and attempt to discuss them with you, especially any rule changes they have in their leagues. Canadian Football is different, so I imagine Korean and Israeli are different too.

Here is a link to the British American Football Association website

At it's height over here in the 1980's and early 1990's each team used to have four professional american players and attract crowds of several thousand (apart from the two London powerhouses at the time they would be lucky to attract gates of 100).

The european scene was usually dominated by the champions from Germany, UK along with Amsterdam Admirals, Bergamo Lions (I think) and even the French had a decent team in Aux-en-Provence. In the mid 1990's the Germans took over as their league was run better than over here. Here is a link to the EFAF although judging by the writing I think it's written by Jack6 when he writes one of his college football blogs

Also we here in the heard of europe - Austria - play football.

The AFL - Austrian Football League is a small but very competitive league. Our season starts in march and ends with the Austrian Bowl in July. 6 Teams are fighting each other in home and away games.
Homepage of the Federation

Three of our teams are under the Top 5 Teams in Europe - EFAF Top 20 - Vienna Vikings, Swarco Raiders Tirol and Graz Giants.
Over the last 10 years, we won 7 Eurobowl´s and there was no final without an austrian team. Some times German Teams show up. But you never know, if the come to play or just hang around and let the eurobowl go - maybe they dont wanna play because of there big GFL-schedule?

I was unter the impression we Germans try to avoid these cup matches because of two things: limited budgets and a long season. A GFL team has 14 games to handle, and this could raise to 17...hard to add more matches with a semi-professional team structure.

yes, you are right, specialy if they must play the 2 qualification games before the 1/4 finales. Wrote it in my last word -> big GFL schedule.
