After years of people telling me "American football is too expensive. No one outside the USA enjoys American football.", it's good to see these leagues exist and they're popular enough to sustain it.

yes, but dont make the mistake that the football played outside usa is similar except for the rules. it is an exotic sport, especially in countries like germany where king football is the medias darling. it is kind of an enthusiasts thing...but I LOVE IT!

The French have shown much in commentary. So far, I give the Japanese an advantage in cheerleaders. Who said the Japanese don't know American football?

There is an audience for it in Europe. However, it needs to be marketed correctly and receive some decent media exposure for it to grow.

With as many NFL and high level D-1 college players as Samoa has produced, I'm surprised that there's no major American football league there.

Population wouldn't support having a league. Most of the rugby players from Samoa play in New Zealand
