Like for QB skills for the in normal situation passing the ball
Passing, vison, and any other skills need (in debate footwork, positioning)
or
LB vison, tackling, and in (debate footwork, and positioning)

And this exactly what I (and I believe the majority of the gamers) dislike

What's a normal job for TE? He blocks on run plays and receives on pass plays, so all 3 physicals, positioning, vision, blocking, catching + tackling (to prevent Int return TD) and maybe carrying. But what is for what action?
Needed skills by action, not by position would be more useful imo.

Again...what we have today is which skill is useful when you do a certain thing on the field. We can extend that. But the other way - as mentioned above - is disliked

I think a running list of every ME u p d a t e is hugely needed! And an associated FAQ that should be updated as needed.

One of the most important aspects of the entire process, prediction, is completely MIA!

Well listing what each action requires would work as well.
Running the ball
passing the ball
avoiding the sack
blocking blocking
catching
covering
intercepting
talking
breaking a block
breaking a tackle
punting
kicking
any action i may have forgotten

Have all skills list that are involve in each action would still get the desired effect of cleaning up what goes in each position

I know it is overwelming when you first start to play, but isn't it part of the fun to figure it out?

I think what doesn't work is as important.

Eg no-one has ever answered the carrying question. Does it do anything other than avoid fumbling. Theoretically it should do.

Catching for defenders is another thing. Does it 'work' ? Manual says it does. Manual says returners can use catching. They can't which means you can't trust it really.

The Positioning question - should you need to train your QB up to 30 positioning just to see if it does anything. If it doesn't do anything its a waste to say the least.

I think the way its set-up is fine as it is.

Just needs to be accurate. Eg for catching. As an example only include the following if returners and defenders do need to use it (ie if there are muffed punts and dropped interceptions).

Catching is needed by Wide receivers and Tight ends when the Quarterback is throwing the ball to them. Defenders can use it on intercepting a pass, as Kick returners might need it to catch the punt or kick. The best most accurate pass will be incomplete without good Catching. Catching is the theoretical aspect (how to - of catching a ball.
