Therefore, any players that enter the market seem better by comparison. I sold a bunch of players yesterday and got good prices for most of them. It was about time player value increased, to be honest. |

Pete wrote it in a thread a couple of weeks ago, that he would lower the number of those free agents a little again. I can't find the thread to back it up though.

I must have missed that thread... Wouldn't reducing the number of FAs increase the time it'll take new teams to catch-up?

No. I tracked the number of FAs that hit the transfer market, and those that were hired. I reduced the number then by a percentage of the amount of the non-hired. Yes, it might have an effect, but only a very very small one

Fair enough, I trust your judgment.

I'm a little confused
Is it correct understood that you only lowered the percentage for the ones that most likely didn't get hired anyway? |

example numbers to make it clear
i put 100 FAs on the market, and 50 got hired...this makes 50 non-hired FAs. I reduced the number by 50% of the non.hired FA, which makes 75 then... Again: numbers are not real, just examples And yes, I did not change the average quality by just removing those not being hired...That would be too easy |
