Where will the SC Playoff cutoff be for 1 lose teams that don't win their division? Looks like around +1200 PD, perhaps?

At the moment the 16th placed 12-1 team behind the division leaders do have about 1330 PD+. Add two potentiall BOT games and you are easily at 1500+. Last year was the 129th with 1392 PD. I expect that this year you need more points. |

I know it wouldnt be before monday but on monday we will have the last gameday in the divisions. Let´s see where decisions are still left who will reach the playoffs. Division 9 16:00:00 Bengals Udine - - - Wesley Crushers it is a win or go home cause both teams won´t have a chance to reach the playoffs by PD if they lose. Division 17 21:00:00 Lucea Cardinals - - - Phoenix Firebirds If the Cardinals would lose they could reach the playoffs by PD. I don´t think the Firebirds will reach them too if they lose but it will be close. Division 23 21:00:00 Man Eaters - - - Edmonton Destroyers Both teams are from 3rd league. It is a win or go home match. The winner will reach the playoffs the loser not. Division 28 21:00:00 CARDIACJACKETS - - - Vitoria Patriots I think it is a win or go home too. The PD for the loser could really be to low. Division 50 17:00:00 Steelers - - - Dutch Tigers Very low PD for both teams. So only the winner reach the playoffs. Division 63 18:00:00 Wild Thangs - - - Alabama Pachyderms A win or go home match too. Division 97 21:00:00 Inđija Polar Bears - - - Sidcup Scarfish both teams are 13-1 so it is definitely a win or go home. Division 110 20:00:00 Sinna Ladd Tromsø - - - Dome Babbies The Babbies have to wn or go home but it will be tough to beat Sinna Ladd There are some other divisions too who aren´t decided yet cause the leader has to play a tough match and the 2nd one could take over if the leader lose. There are 6 spots at the moment where 14-0 teams still sit on 2nd in the division. The best 13-1 teams who are on the qualification seat before the last game day have this PD at the moment: 2021 Derbyshire Electric 1997 The Northern Riviera 1992 Stone Mtn Hawks 1791 Heidelberg Hippos 1759 Sydney Convicts 1708 Frederiksberg Dreamers 1606 Girona Dragons 1568 Strike Team 1559 Bavarian Bratwursts 1550 Constanta Ravens There is only the match between the Cardinals and the Firebirds where both teams could still reach the playoffs if the Firebirds wins. Cardinals PD 1704 Firebirds PD 1539 The next 6 teams with the best PD who are not qualified at the moment are: 1533 Lyon Eagles 1506 Black Dragons 1474 Ramdozers 1465 K´Town Beers 1450 Joburg Brawlers 1437 Full Floters - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - So spot of the Floters depends on the game of Cardinals vs Firebirds and the result. I think if the Cardinals win the firebirds will be out cause the PD between these 6 teams and the Firebirds are never more then 102 points. For teams who play vs bots this is definitely possible. All Teams behind the Floters have to win and catch up the points in PD. But don´t forget you must be 2nd in your division. |

That's a nice analysis.
Many teams with a 13-1 record do have games against human opponents. That's a true negativ if you have to get as much points as possible to sneak into the playoffs. There are even some games against almost equally rated teams, which could also mean an additional loss in the last game. I think there will be some movements on the last day and I expecting still 1500+ PD is a must to sneak in. Maybe even 1550 + PD. |

Yes, I think people have become wise to the PD issue and are starting to run up the score sooner now.

I tried to maximise my PD, because of the final game. With my good PD I'm not forced to use my MOTY. I'm sure Ranagol with use his MOTY and I expect a very close game.

Are you sure that's true? Based on the manual's wording it seems that 3 teams from the same division could make it if they all went 14-1 and have a good enough PD. "All Division-winners and the best 16 of all other teams after this division round enter the playoffs." |

not sure. should better say you must be 14-1 cause there are some 13-2 teams with a better PD at 2nd.
