Snatched a bargain player on the TL? Come here to gloat! Not the $100mio players but those that cost just a few thousand. Like my free agent uncapped project QB Bahari Ngige that I managed to sign 24 hours before his auction ended as nobody had placed a bid! The best $200k I've spent. Well, today you spent 31.9 mill on my 'star' player Was waiting to see the 50 mill mark, but he fell just short. And i didnt see any flapping fappers bidding. Had a few whiskeys whilst enjoying the Ashes cricket. Total mistake obviously as the Fappers weren't interested... On all seriousness, I have a low wage cost so can afford a maxed out MLB as I try to stay in 1.1... ... ... ... I made a mistake, thought I would be out bid. It might be the only position worth that kind of investment. My current wage bill is 900k, so adding 500k more for one player makes little sense. Better to have 10 players at 50k, or 5 players at 100k. Totally agree. I'm nearer the 500k so will take the extra outlay for a year to see if I can stay up but still spent too much. Realistically though, what is 30mio plus 12 mil over 23 weeks in this game? ive spent 60 before so would pay for this guy for 4 seasons! With his other skills so high he might be worth the outlay. |

I've purchased an absolute ton of flops, and overpaid plenty of times on others... On the bright side I've a few bargains:
Ezio Carani 3.5 mil for a 24(at the time)yo draft TE Stepan Katerynchuk . He'll never be a world beater because of int/physicals. But I think 600k for a developed QB is decent business. Biggest profit was 3k - 15mil. Had a few players I was training up to sell for big profits but Pete came in and ruined it for me. So ended up selling too late and got pittance for them. Biggest loss will happen this season. Spent 45mil on a QB a while back. Really don't want to know how much I'll lose out on. The advantages of having a smaller roster (50 senior players) wages are 582k... |
