right now i am wishing for a LSU, Alabama and Stanford Loss but if not it was anesome season still and i might have to cheer on the Pokes at the OSU OU game it will be hard but i think i can do it

But why LSU and Alabama? I would be saver, but better wish for an LSU win against Alabama and an Auburn win in the Iron Bowl.

You think the looser of LSU vs. The Tide could be ranked higher that Oklahoma beating OSU? Could be, but I think not.

At the moment I'm totally confused about this shiftings in general.

It looks like a big knot, build over years and decades is bursting now. In 1-2 Seasons it seams all conferences will have a new look.

Reagrding West Virginia it looks OK. I mean the programs try to get the best deal, right? And West Viginia seams to have the strength to survive in that conference. But i don't have that "Oh we will loose all the rivalty in the BIG EAST"-Feeling, because for me it does look that big in the BIG EAST.
But i can't understand Missouri, they will be a pushover in the SEC. The money can't be THAT different from the BIG 12 ...

I think the movement by the Big-10 and Pac-10 now Pac-12 was primarily fueled by NCAA rules that require you to have 12 teams in order to have a conference championship game. This game is a real big pay day so, the Big-10 and Pac-10 decided to grab Nebraska (Big-12), Colorado (Big-12) and Utah (although I don't think the Utes were a first choice).

At this point, the Big-12 lost two of their "better" teams. Nebraska has always been a football power and Colorado, although down in football, was one of the Big-12 biggest TV markets.

Then, A&M bolts for the SEC and it looks like the Big-12 is totally falling apart...

Yes, but now, several new moves are mentioned.
BIG 12 getting TCU and West Viginia
CONFERENCE USA and MOUNTAIN WEST will fusion together.
ACC will get Pitt and Syracuse

And there are rumours all over the web.
10-20 years from now, it will look like a BIG BANG ..

Yeah, the stronger conferences seem to be able to gather teams from regions while the weaker ones are left to stitch together competitive conference from where ever they can grab teams.

i think the BIG 12 will survive its a strong confrence but there are alot of small issues tearing it apart i think in time it will repair its self and be strong again. the SEC is the strongest confrence for the past few years but it wont stay that way forever i think in the end there will be 4 total confrences it may take 20 years but it will end up as 4 North East South and West
